the place to be for new york fashion week was definitely at the proenza schouler show. guests included carine roitfeld, julia restoin-roitfeld, anna wintour, bee shaffer, hamish bowles, mary-kate olsen, joseph altuzarra, lauren santo domingo, vanessa traina, chloe sevigny, jen brill, pamela love, craig mcdean, terry richardson & olivier zahm...phew! anna shocked onlookers by taking off her sunglasses for the entire show (except for the final runthrough) when she put them back on. jack mccollough & lazaro hernandez, who collaborated with j brand for the high waisted graffiti denim trousers, were inspired by christopher wool who has done graffittiesque paintings. marie chaix styled the show. really really, liked!
