i went to the ok! oscar party the other night here in hollywood....i sat in the corner for about an hour wishing i was already at home until i heard that buzz aldrin & his wife lois were at the party. i LOVE lois. i have a huge file on her and i think she is simply fantastic. she is 80 years old and yes, had a lot of plastic surgery but there is just something about her. some joie de vivre. and she was exactly that in person. i walked over to the table and told her how much i loved her and how amazing she was and she took my hand and laughed and said "oh my dear, you're kidding me!" she then lifted her leg from under the table to show me her sequined pants. i just looked at buzz aldrin, slapped him on the shoulder and said "you are a lucky man, a lucky man indeed!" and as i was walking away beaming i realized i had just punched the second man to step foot on the moon! oh well, his wife is FANTASTIC. love. love. love.
