leonor scherrer, daughter of couturier jean-louis scherrer, is now a designer herself. her new collection is called leonor scherrer funeral couture. she came across the idea when she accompanied her father to the funeral of yves saint laurent and couldn't find anything appropriate to wear. she cites claude montana & yves saint laurent as references and plans to invite a different designer to create pieces of the line each season. riccardo tisci, who featured her in the fall 2009 campaign for givenchy, has already accepted.
