malcolm mclaren, former manager of the sex pistols & impresario has died of cancer at the age of 64. he had been suffering from cancer for some time and died in new york this morning. he achieved notoriety in 1977 as the manager of iconic punk band, the sex pistols. along with vivienne westwood, he ran the clothing shop on king's road, let it rock, selling teddy boy clothing. in 1975 he renamed the shop SEX. a true legend.
