christian lacroix has been named artistic advisor to the monnaie de paris, the french mint. he will be designing special medals for marriage & PACS (civil unions). he also plans to dream up new commemorative forms, using precious metals. he continues to design costumes for the stage as well as projects including hotels & trams. kind of love him even more.
