When Luise and Franck first met in 2005 among the desks of a large fashion school in Paris, they had already formulated a clear idea of their projected menswear label—true Individualists at heart!
Two year later, their projections became reality with the launch of their first menswear collection in 2007.
This Franco-German duo reinterprets their inspiration from folk culture and post-modern architecture into minimalist and expressive collections of sartorial elegance and nonchalant urban styles.
Contrasting fragility and emotion with manliness, Luise and Franck reflect the modern definition of masculinity in each garment.
For spring/summer 2016, the Individualists have prepared a collection entitled “Birds,” for which they quote French playwright and director, Jacque Deval (1895–1972):
“God loved the birds and invented trees. Man loved the birds and invented cages.”
